love story

Everyone always asks us how we met and fell in love! Well, it was pretty instant for the hubs, I'm sure, lol! For realsies, we met *again* at singles ward, isn't that so funny? I love being unique! I was visiting with a friend (sad story, b/c she had a major crush on him) well, who didn't, he was hot and so spirtual.

We actually knew each others before his mission to Brasil. We wrote and I totally said I'd wait for him ;) and he sent me a tapeworm shaped like a heart, after which I stopped writing. I mean, gross! I so needed to go and date around parasite free guys, you know!?

So, after the mission, he was giving a talk and as he scanned the croud with his 'serious eyes', his pools of blue met mine and it was like, instant.... I even heard girls behind me swoon b/c they thought he was looking at them. Boy were they sad when he made a beeline for me as soon as he had a chance!

Well, all these girls were so sad we were together, they all tried gossiping about me, since they had a 'claim' on him or whatever since they'd been in the ward longer than me, but oh well! The funnest part was seeing all the guys tryin to talk to me and win me over and the girls doin the same to him. But, we were totes made for each others and got married 8 months later (even though we re-dated in secret for the first month). We broke up twice, but when he engaged to me it was such a shock. We'd already picked out the ring at Losee's and bought it on my dad's credit card. My babycakes had it in his pocket, I swear for a month before he finally askted!

Of course I said, "NO!" haha, that was so funny to see his little heart break right there, than I was like, "Kidding, geeze your laaaaame!" And we had the best moral kiss ever. I swear, now a days I only come up for air to type on my blogs! Really though, the engagement wasn't 'official' until he reprosed to me in front of all our friends at the Brick Oven that weekend, and then at a stake dance two weekends later. Pretending to be suprised was way fun, I even taught a mini FHE to my 'family' on how to master the glowy, teary, out of breath squeel for maximum effect.

And it has been the best 5 years ever.
